How to Play Motion Flappy Bird

1. Choose Play with camera and allow camera access. Show both hands, separated and facing the camera. A 3, 2, 1 countdown gets you ready.

2. Bring your palms together to flap. Each clap gives the bird an upward boost. Separate your hands before the next clap. Your webcam reads the movement; no microphone is needed.

3. Without a clap, gravity pulls the bird down. Keep a steady rhythm to pass between the emerald pillars. Avoid the pillars, the ground and the top of the play area.

4. Each pair of pillars you fully pass earns 1 point. There is no final level: fly for as long as you can. Your personal best is saved in this browser.

5. Prefer traditional controls? Click or tap the play area, or press Space / Up to flap. Use P or the Pause button to take a break.

A Familiar Flying Challenge, With a Motion Twist

Motion Flappy Bird is SwayJoy's original take on the Flappy Bird-style obstacle challenge. A little blue bird flies through an endless sequence of golden-rimmed emerald pillars above a sea of clouds. The rules are simple: flap upward, let gravity bring you down and find the opening. One mistake ends your flight. After the results, a 3, 2, 1 countdown starts your next try automatically. In camera mode, keep both hands visible to restart. Choose Back to menu to stop.

Clap With Rhythm, Not Volume

The camera follows two hands and detects the movement from separated palms to a clap. It does not listen for sound, so a gentle clap is enough. Holding your hands together does not keep the bird rising: separate them to prepare the next flap. Use good lighting and keep both hands inside the camera preview.

If your hands leave the view, the flight pauses. Bring them back to resume automatically after 3, 2, 1. Your score and the obstacle positions are preserved. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not recorded or uploaded. Returning to the menu, switching to mouse controls or leaving the page stops the camera.

Endless Flights, One Personal Best

Every gate is worth one point. Speed increases gradually, and the openings become a little narrower before reaching a difficulty cap. Gates are generated as you fly, so there is no fixed finish line. Reach 5, 10, 20 and 40 points to earn Bronze Wings, Silver Wings, Gold Wings and Sky Legend in the results screen.

Your best score is saved locally in this browser, without an account. Clearing site data removes it, and it does not sync between devices. This is an independent SwayJoy game with original artwork, not the official Flappy Bird release.

FAQ

How do I control the bird with my hands?
Choose Play with camera, allow access and show both hands to start the countdown. Bring your palms together to flap upward, then separate them before the next clap. Without another clap, the bird falls.
Does this game use my microphone?
No. The webcam detects the movement of your hands, not the sound of a clap. A gentle clap is enough. Video is processed locally and is not recorded or uploaded.
Can I play without a webcam?
Yes. Choose Play with mouse / touch. Click or tap the play area, or press Space or Up, to flap. Press P to pause.
How do scoring and high scores work?
Fully pass a pair of pillars to earn one point. The course continues indefinitely, with gradually increasing difficulty up to a cap. Your highest score is saved in this browser and remains after a reload. Clearing site data removes it.
What happens if hand tracking is lost?
The flight pauses after a brief tracking gap. Show both hands again to resume automatically after 3, 2, 1. Your score and obstacle positions are preserved. You can also switch to mouse or touch.
Is this the official Flappy Bird game?
No. Motion Flappy Bird is an independent SwayJoy game inspired by the familiar flying-through-gaps mechanic, with original artwork and webcam clap controls.
